Laracon

Laracon Live Tweet Map

Published

A streaming status board for Laracon. All tweets with location enabled will show on the map and non-geo tweets are displayed in the sidebar. Try it out by tweeting something with the word “laracon” in it.

This is really cool and my favorite part is the “whats it written in” section:

Oh you nerds. I created it with EmberJS, SockJS, Redis, NodeJS, Nginx, and duct tape. If it’s a horrible broken wreck it’s because I started writing it about 7 days too late to have it ready for Laracon 2014.

Those really are the best apps. Throw it together and hope it works. :-) I’ll be keeping an eye on this as I make my way around NYC.
