Certificatechain.io: Easily install intermediate SSL certificates

Published

Certificatechain.io is a new Laravel app developed by spatie.be that is designed to make creating SSL certificates easier by automatically setting up all the intermediate certificates.

The intermediate certificates are important because some browsers and mobile apps will report the connection is not secure if they are not setup properly. I personally ran into this myself which lead to the post on how to install a Namecheap SSL on Forge. This simple single page app aims to simplify that entire process.

The app itself is built on Laravel 5and uses ssl-certificate-chain-resolver, inspired by cert-chain-resolver by Jan Žák.

The next time you need to setup an SSL cert give Certificatechain.io a try.
