Laracasts: What’s New in Laravel 5.6
Published on by Eric L. Barnes
Laravel 5.6 has been for a few weeks now and it includes a few nice new features like Broadcast Channel Classes, Collision Reporting, Improved Logging, and more.
In order to get you up to speed on all these new features, Laracasts has started a new free series, “What’s new in Laravel 5.6” that will go through each major feature of this release.
The series is still in development and it currently features eight lessons:
- Upgrading the Laracasts Codebase to Laravel 5.6
- Broadcast Channel Class
- Collision Reporting
- Eloquent Date Casting
- Improved Logging
- Dynamic Rate Limiting
- Logout other devices
- API Controller Generator
More videos will be coming out over the next few weeks, and it’s a great resource for learning about all the new features. If you’d like to stay up to date with the series the Laracasts site features a “notify” option that will email you when the next video is added, just login or register and you’ll see it on the series page.
