Laracon US officially announced that Robert C Martin (colloquially known as Uncle Bob) is speaking at Laracon 2018 this year!
If you have any Uncle Bob books, you should probably bring them to Laracon ????

Uncle Bob is a well-known software developer, author, and public speaker. He runs a consulting firm Uncle Bob Consulting and cleancoders.com which is home of videos on agile software development and writing clean code, among other software topics.
He is a co-author of the Agile Manifesto and author of classics such as: – Agile Software Development: Principles, Patterns, and Practices – Clean Code: A Handbook of Agile Software Craftsmanship – The Clean Coder: A Code of Conduct for Professional Programmers (my personal favorite) – Clean Architecture: A Craftsman’s Guide to Software Structure and Design.
This year is the first time that Robert Martin will speak at Laracon US, which is putting together an excellent lineup of speakers this year, including Taylor Otwell, Jason Fried, Adam Wathan, Matt Stauffer, Evan You, Ryan Singer, and Jocelyn K. Glei. You can submit a talk if you are interested in speaking at Laracon US this year. At the time of writing CFPs are still open.
Also, the early bird ticket sales are over, and tickets have been made available. Tickets will sell quickly, so grab one now on laracon.us!
The venue this year is The Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. Laracon US is a two-day event on Wednesday, July 25th to Thursday, July 26th, 2018.
