Laravel now has an official worldwide meetup hosted by Freek Van der Herten that will stream live on YouTube. The first event will be held on July 14th at 18:00 UTC, and the speakers will be Mohamed Said and Joseph Silber. Both big contributors to the framework and the community.

“One of the most important goals of this meetup is to introduce new speakers to the Laravel community,” Freek said in his announcement. If you’d like to become a future speaker, you can propose your topic on the site. The goal is to have each talk be 30 mins.

Visit the official site for all the details on this new event and also join the newsletter so you can be informed when each new meetup happens.
