Published on by Paul Redmond
Larabelles is a community that focuses on reducing barriers for women to enter the world of technology. This is a new group started by developer Zuzana K:
Ever since I started working with #Laravel, there has been one thing missing: A community for women Laravel developers.
So I decided to create one!
Let me introduce Larabelles! Laravel's community for ladies!https://t.co/mIXE9hAV2phttps://t.co/yHGmo917aw

The larabelles.com landing page explains the purpose of this community:
Larabelles is a community that focuses on reducing barriers for women to enter the world of technology. We do this by encouraging more girls and women to consider a career in tech and by providing a safe space to feel welcome and supported, not just at the beginning of their development career, but throughout.
Larabelles aim to make the world of Laravel development more accessible to women by promoting women and their accomplishments and projects, by providing networking and socialising opportunities, and by sharing resources.
Larabelles are already seeing sponsorships by Laravel partner Tighten, check out the website for ways to get involved. Please support them by following along on twitter at @larabellesphp, sharing with friends, and signing up for the newsletter on larabelles.com.
