In the latest Full Stack Radio, Adam Wathan sits down with Taylor to talk about strategies they use to write cleaner and simpler code when working with the Laravel. The episode is just over an hour long but it includes lots of great insights into how they structure their applications and other little tips.

One item they mentioned is splitting controllers and how they are trying to not expand outside of the resource routes. If you find yourself wanting to add something outside of these that is a sign to create a new Controller.

I think little tips like these are useful and has the side effect of keeping your code smaller and more focused. This episode is worth a listen and I’m sure you’ll pick some other nice tips.
