Laracon Chicago 2018 Visitor Guide
Published on by Eric L. Barnes
Tighten and crew has put together an awesome visitor guide for all the attendees coming to Laracon US this year:
Since the conference is coming to our hometown this year, we wanted to provide the Laracon community with our unvarnished opinions on what to do, see, eat, and drink here in Chicago.
It’s not meant to be comprehensive, but rather it’s tailored to enhance the experience of Laracon attendees in particular.
The visitor guide is a directory where you first pick the location you are currently at, near the venue, the hotels, Midway, or O’Hare. Then from here, you can drill down to the different activities you are looking for. These include food, drinks, coffee, shopping, dining, and more.
What I love is it not only gives you information on where to go but what to avoid. For instance the Navy Pier:
Navy Pier – AVOID
Crowded tourist trap full of suburbanites who have no idea what else to do with themselves and their 17 kids.Yes, there’s a Ferris Wheel. No, it’s not worth it.
Steer clear.
Bookmark the visitor guide now and never be left wondering what to do in Chicago.
