Laravel Holiday Giveaway

Hard to believe that another year is coming to a close, and what a year it has been. Let’s face it, for most of us, 2020 has been a complete dumpster fire.

That’s why this year I’ve decided to step things up with the annual giveaway that I organize. This is the third or fourth year that I’ve run a holiday giveaway. There are a lot of reasons why I do it. I feel so privileged and lucky to be a part of this community that has given me so much.

With the help of James Brooks, David Piesse, and Caneco, we set the goal of trying to create a massive giveaway that would impact as many people as possible. The way this community has come together and donated prizes, products, and services is nothing short of incredible. We were able to build a prize list totaling over $20,000 US.

We also were able to get three incredibly generous sponsors whose financial contribution has allowed us to purchase close to $3000 in prizes.

#The Giveaway

This year’s giveaway, website located here, will consist of twelve days of giving all starting on December 9th, 2020, and running until December 20th, 2020. Every day on Twitter via the @ContestKit account, there will be a tweet published at 6 AM PST (2 PM GMT) giving away different prizes from the list below. To enter, all you have to do is retweet.

The twelve Twitter giveaways will each have one Laracasts subscription and one $180 Sentry’s credit along with a selection of other prizes. You can see the information for all twelve giveaways here
